Food was great. Friendly staff! Not much of a waiting area if you have to wait for a table.

Had a great breakfast and mimosa. Service was a little slow but they were extremely busy, once ordered the food came fairly quick.

Foods great. Bathrooms are gas station bathrooms from the 70s. Stink , little, and ladies bathroom seat laying on floor.

Good food and prices are very reasonable. A good variety on the menu. Friendly wait staff and attentive. Will return.

Good food large menu live entertainment but the meal didn't stand out in my mind. I had a hard time remembering what I had even the next day.

Very good food and fast service. The place has been here since 1909 which I love... with that being said, it smells like black mold as soon as you walk in and it only gets stronger when you walk into the the bathrooms. I love historic places, but I also think it’s okay to deep clean or bleach or repaint some things without affecting the quality of the atmosphere. I don’t think I’d go back again personally, but I wouldn’t steer people away from it.

Excellent breakfast food and service. Probably the best breakfast in town. Also a really neat place if you are familiar with One Tree Hill.

Super friendly staff, good breakfast plates & coffee, neat local art covering the walls. Mimosas on Christmas Eve was a nice touch ( pancakes were a little dry and the maple syrup is fake aka corn syrup). Otherwise, no reservations, seat yourself when you arrive. This place gets weird crowd surges so opt to go early if possible...

It was pretty decent. Very packed. It was recommended by a fellow business owner. I had French toast with fruit and my husband ordered eggs, bacon, and fried potatoes. We shared and tried a little of everything.

Cool vibe but the service left a bit to be desired. Food was only okay. Very convenient if you're staying in the downtown area but I wouldn't rush back.

Nothing like a good old fashioned diner. The service here was fantastic and the food matched that same level of quality. It's located right in the heart of downtown, making it really easy to go for a post meal walk down by the water. I'll be visiting The Dixie the next time I'm in Wilmington

Always my favorite breakfast place in town! Any free morning I have, I go! Cheap prices for amazing food/drinks!! Waitresses are so nice and helpful!!!

I hate to even give this place a perfect review because I'm afraid it will get to busy. But this place has the best breakfast. The staff remembers you after the first visit.

Nice selection of menu items. Those I chose were awesome. Kitchen ran like a well oiled machine.

Service was on it! Thomas was at our table within a minute of sitting down. Food came out quickly and was tasty. Prices were reasonable. Nice little spot!

Would give 5 stars except their prices online are wrong. I ordered based off what I saw online and when I brought it to their attention, they said for me to call instead to check prices and they didn't honor what they had on the websit . To be told they have no control over it is a lame excuse. So, if you want food from here, dont call for pick up because the prices will most likely be different than in store

Worth the 30 minute drive, worth the 15 minute wait. I'm not impressed easily.. but let's just say I will be back!

The food and service were great. Crowded on a Saturday morning wait time was 25 mins but worth it. My daughter enjoyed her giant full stack of chocolate chip pancakes, in which she didn't finish lol 😊😊. The corned beef hash was excellent and different from what I'm used to.

Get here early, fills up fast. Food is great, very southern! Has a nostalgic feel so that could be a plus or minus for you. Bathrooms need some work is only negative for. Staff is always friendly and professional!

Awesome staff and amazing food

Dixie Grill is cozy and has a friendly atmosphere. It’s great for families, friends or couples. Everything I’ve ever had to eat there has been good. For breakfast, the home fries and bacon egg and cheese sandwich are my favorite. Today I had the Thin Cora sandwich for lunch with onion rings and really liked it too.

What a great place to visit for breakfast. Get here early on Saturday, the line starts to head down the street around 10:00. I went for the Biscuits and Gravy. Delish. This is an older place where the wait staff is experienced, they are friendly and know how to take care of larger groups. The biscuits are fresh and made throughout the morning. I'll be back!

Very 60's diner decor. Food is great, not fancy. Prices reasonable, 2 folks lunch for about $24 including drinks. Staff was good.

This place really impressed me the service atmosphere and food was awesome. My wife and I came here and had dinner during azalea weekend.I really have to comeback for breakfast because I was so delighted with the dinner. See ya soon.

Second time here, so it's worth coming back. Service is good, amounts are ample. My adult son got the Jamaican Jerk chicken with sweet potato fries, & I got the chorizo burger with black beans on it. We halved them, and ate half of each. Black beans made the burger a but dry, but still good. Both fries were crispy, which we prefer.

I’ve eaten her many times. Love the Louisiana Hash but lately have been disappointed as they have been keeping very weird hours... 3 times I’ve tried to go there to find them closed early. Service was never that good to begin with but kept going back for the food. Today is my last attempt as I’m tired of being disappointed by them not following their posted hours.

I've been twice now and sat in a booth the first time and at the bar the second. We were treated well from the time we walked in until the time we left. My friend had an egg white omelet stuffed with peppers and onions while I had the grits. She loved hers (her go-to dish) and I politely returned the grits. The server couldn't have been nicer about it. I would recommend that you bring at least $30 for a breakfast for two which is typical downtown prices. ...I am quite sure we will be back again soon!

Food was good but not great, taste was on par but parts of our order were overcooked, undercooked, or had been sitting in the window and only lukewarm by the time they got to our table. Service could have used improvement. The atmosphere of the place was nice and cozy, and the server was polite the one time she came to check on our table, which would have been understandable had they been very busy, but they were not. I'd be willing to give it another shot, but overall was not super impressed. Went for breakfast this time, maybe would try again for lunch...Again not terrible but this experience was not something to write home about.

Had a great breakfast. Had a little wait, which was expected, but Kinsey was very fast with our order and very nice to speak with. The sweet potatoes pancakes were great and the fired green tomatoes eggs benedict was just enough. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Very good food and atmosphere. Great service. Got there about 30 minutes after they opened and by the time we left the place seemed full. Had more than enough to eat!

As usual, the food was good. However, the "new guy" in the kitchen seemed to be more interested in dancing around and entertaining his co-workers then getting food out in a timely manner. We waited 45 minutes after ordering to receive our food. (Note: the waitress did tell us after we ordered that the food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen.)
